We beat them three times last year. Twice rather comfortably.
Same lists basically.
FWIW I don't think Collingwood are gonna do shit this year and I said this the other day. Their list is bang average and a very reliable source told me that internally they are shitting bricks about their midfield stocks. They were coming hard for two of ours, as well as Bailey Smith, and the late-season interest in names like Perryman (who they got) and Peatling (who they didn't) were the result of them failing to get the ones they wanted. (Which sounds painfully familiar...)
So if I'm supposed to be impressed by this performance by GWS, I'm not yet.

So the Collingwood Daicos's are bottom of the ladder. Makes up for a shit performance of our own. 4 minutes to pile a few more on Giants. **** up their percentage so they spend the rest of the season trying to claw it back.

I always knew Collingwood pulled 2023 out of their ass. When I said they were nothing more than fluke artists riding on the momentum of close games I was told that I knew nothing about football and should stick to rugby. Who's laughing now hey?

We can be envious of some of their players, but the game isn't played in an environment where you can just pick the best from multiple teams to form a superclub.
True, making it count doesn't matter as much as how a list/team appears on paper.
Maybe they'll live up to their potential this year.
They play 14 games at home each year. Hence they are competitive. However this is a pasting against a undermanned Giants.
