Game Day Non-Swans Game Day

Only watching at TV but cannot see the run from Collingwood for overlaps or switches.

Two down on bench probably impacting on that but still

You might be right about the bench, because I'm at the ground and the Collingwood players just don't move. Statue impersonation time

Watching and there is no overlap runners for the switch when it is on.

Kind of want to play Eagles- their defense is set around long bombs as opposed to precision

Tanked his interviews?
Must have - these were the scouting notes for that years draft - yet he went at pick 21.

Oscar Allen: Tall Utility who can play at either end but mostly looks likely to settle forward. Marks well overhead and moves well for a player over 190cm. Good decision maker and impressed inside 50 in the WA trials. Named co-captain for Western Australia in the National Under 18 Championships and was the Larke Medalist judged the best player in the carnival. Looms as one of the first WA players selected. Has a good endurance base.

I've always said their defenders - McGovern, Barrass, Hurn, Cole - are all better as the intercepting spare man than in one on ones. Some of them - namingnonamesmcgovern - are flat out average at contesting one on ones. Hopefully we keep our forward line in tact so we can exploit that.

Mason Cox 3 goals in each of his last 2 games against West Coast, both at Optus Stadium.

Kicked 2 goals in each of his first 3 games this season (goalless last week).

I get he's no star, but leaving him out means Collingwood move one of the very best defenders in the game forward and leave their defence exposed and of course (albeit with limited opportunities) Moore no impact forward.

And yet even with Howe off, still kept Moore fwd.

Given the talent of WCE's tall forwards strange match to play positional games and arguably even more baffling is the unwillingness to remedy the situation during the game.

Don't think the Collingwood Board is putting a contract extension in front of Buckley anytime soon.

Buckley may be smart enough to walk away.

Eagles are really clever at hiding talent they did the same with Darling.
