I'd rather they beat the Magpies, would make our win look like we actually beat a decent team.
I'm still completely flummoxed why they are playing so poorly, they've got stars all over the park.
Downhill since the Kelly recruitment.

You can't put the way their playing on him. Their game plan seems to not have adapted to the new rules and consequently they seem to have lost faith in their coaching staff. Its not the lack of effort in this game, its the consistent disinterest that's been there for months now.
Few players have fallen off a cliff like Oscar Allen.
Hopefully select media members can get it through their heads that this WCE side doesn't want it enough and is not a good team. You can't be "better than this" if you keep doing it.

A lot work for WCE with way too many talls and slow players. Simpson locked in until 2024.
Need to reform/reshape playing list and new ideas from outside the club.
If Simpson was only 1 year to go Cox would get a good offer, and might still get an offer, but takes a while, unless trades in right players.
JJK and HURN 33, back 6 useless unless they mark it, only run with Gaff and Yeo, front 6 same as back 6, no forward pressure.
Lots of work with that list. Good times!

It's been sad watching Matt Rowell this year. Just isn't playing with that same confidence he started with.
Hope they didn't bring him back from injury too soon. Average of 13 disposals and 68% TOG this year suggests they might've.

And what has happened to Brisbane in the past few weeks? Looking miles off it. Beat Gold Coast by plenty last week but were down but like 30 points at one stage
Remembered when Rowell got off to a blinder before the shoulder injury last year. Took over games at will. Looked like a Judd level talent... feel sorry for the bloke.
