Just read that my beloved Cats are fielding a team in the Noosa Tri "sports section".
Does anybody know who the 3 entrants might be.
I live in Noosa along with a feew others and maybe we can put on something for the boys up here as well, Noosa Cat style in appreciation of the entertainment they have brought to all of us here this year.

cheers

Suncoast daily had Rooke and Wojinski was not sure on the third.
I'll be up there slugging it out - will keep an eye out for them. *However* from memory I think the Footy players only do a 'dash' type tri (300m swim, 5-10k bike & 2-3k run) - man oh man my mum could belt that one in. Any other AFL teams sending players??

BTW: CatDog -> what's the hills like heading into Cooroy like??

Wonder if Kane will take a leaf out of his brothers book and prematurely do the crazy legs after the swim leg only to get trounced in the rest of the race.

Well the town is a buzzing with people, i have spoken to a mate who mangesthe resort were the boys are staying, he has my jumper under the desk for a sign off to mount on the wall (only lost 1 game since i bought it, well worth hanging up). I will be having a look at the footy legends trial on Sat and will let all know if we get to add another title to the year :).
BTW a very close mate up here is a Port Man and we had breaky with Dean Brogan during the week and i must say a really nice guy with a great outlook on life very impressed.
Update you all later good to see the AFL boys here in person after watching 25 awesome games on tv this year they deserve a junket for sure.

cheers

The back of the age said today that Geelong came third with Rooke doing the swim and bike ride and Wojcinski doing the run.

The port team came first and a retired team of pros including Steve Monagetti came second.

Rooke was the first swimmer out of the water and looked like it was no problem at all.
Chris Bradshaw completed the bike and stopped 1 lap too soon so Wojinski did 1 lap then had to wait for a time penalty or something and by then it wa all over unfortunatley or else they would have won.
The Port boys were well behind when that mistake was made, i think there was about 3 teams that went early, bit of confusion but all in all a good day.
Hope the boys enjoyed the trip, was pretty warm.

Caught up with Max and David afterwards. Legends indeed.

Weather was very hot indeed for the footy legends. Also a real mongrel for the main event the next day -> blew my 10k time by 10 minutes! Normally you measure times in seconds.
