Anyone using these drugs? If you have seen the movie Limitless then this is kind of an example of Nootropics; Drugs for the brain to improve cognitive function, like memory, co-ordination, creativity and motivation among other things.

Ive just ordered 5 grams of Phenylpiracetam but curious if anyone else has dabbled and tested Nootropics.

Will report back once my shipment has arrived.

Subscribing for the report back....

Without knowing much about it, sounds like a placebo to me.

Not sure. There is plenty of evidence in animal testing (yes I know its terrible but so is eating meat), that it actually improves, protects and grows the brain. Im new to this so dont shoot me down.

I'll be the guinea pig here.

Soviet cosmonaut drug doesn't sound like anything that will be entering my bloodstream soon and historically I haven't been too fussy about that sort of thing.
We put all kinds of shit into our bloodstream, nicotine, alcohol, drugs bought of the street, even carbon monoxide. We eat food loaded with fats and sugars and got knows what chemical compounds. If it was good enough for the soviet cosmonauts and gold medal winning olympians then I will give it a crack.

I tried some a year or so back and it had no noticeable effect. Mine was pharmacy purchased in Thailand

Further investigation, i found that those who had success were using large doses, with the difficulty being obtaining genuine product.

I wanted Modafinil but at the time it wasn't so easy to source the genuine tablets in Bangkok.

If i looked at it again I would source some genuine Modafinil

You can buy limitless in club x on hindley for a redback. In liquid form.

First time users half then wait an hour before having again.

You can have dopamine lows two days later.

It works. Good for a Saturday nite out an about.

Some people with metabolic issues have a few problems digesting

Not recommended if you are a drinker or smoke meth or eat junk food and sugar laden drinks. not for someone on energy drinks or artificial sweeteners.

If you look after yourself with nutrition and exercise you get excellent results if used in moderation.

Sex is better. You can concentrate more. Get harder and a better feel for her.

If you're doing an exam and prepare your body properly. It helps.

Just be careful prepare and plan recovery.

Only l-theanine.

I've tried Modafinil and Adderrall but I don't believe either are considered nootropics?
Just from a quick google,

Nootropics are cognitive enhancers but not all cognitive enhancers are nootropics.

Aderall contains amphetamine and is a cognitive enhancer, but it is not a Nootropic.

Anyone tried this one "fenibut" ?
Definately dont take much or you feel awful !

"Phenibut is a central nervous system depressant. It’s long been used in countries like Russia and Ukraine as a prescription treatment for insomnia and anxiety. Phenibut isn’t currently used clinically in the U.S. However, it can be purchased online. It’s marketed as a supplement and as a nootropic. Nootropics are various chemical and herbal supplements that some claim have brain and cognitive-related benefits. Phenibut is similar to the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, which is why it can have a relaxing effect on people who take it. In countries where phenibut is used as a prescription pharmaceutical, it’s given to patients for depression treatment, alcoholism, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder and Meniere’s disease, along with its uses for insomnia and anxiety.

For the most part, phenibut side effects are fairly minimal, but they do exist. Side effects of phenibut can vary depending on whether someone is taking small or large doses. When looking at the side effects of phenibut, there’s no way to know with certainty how someone will react. Everyone reacts differently to certain substances. Since phenibut isn’t regulated in the U.S., one person may have a completely different response than someone else. There is also the potential to use a dangerous dose of phenibut since there are no standardized dosage guidelines. Possible side effects of phenibut at lower doses can include:

Nausea
Sedation
Irritability and agitation
Anxiety
Headache
Dizziness
Allergic reactions

At higher doses, side effects of phenibut can include:

Motor impairment
Loss of balance
Hangovers"

Had this kind of stuff many times in Russia. It's an over the counter medicine called Phenotropyl. Often students will have a couple before a big exam to enhance concentration. Mostly me and my mates would use it when going out drinking for a massive night. If you have 5-10 of the things, you can drink all night - get the buzz of being drunk but not the clumsiness and slopiness. I really rate it!

In South Africa until quite recently you could get Thinz over the counter which were basically high school fat girl pills choc full of pseudo ephedrine. They were dirty f***ers but cheap as chips and would keep you going for days if that's what you wanted.

Ok finally received my shipment of 5 grams of Phenylpiracetam around lunchtime today. I dont have anything to measure in the milligrams so I pretended it was coke and tried to base it of 5 lines in a gram, so a 200 mg dose mixed with a bit of coffee.

Went driving on errands and after half an hour I felt a little sharper and noticed my hangover was gone.. returned home after an hour and dosed up what I estimate to be another 100 MGs... 8 hours ago. This worked. There is no rush like cocaine, but there is a calm clarity and motivation, and positive mind angle to it.

A thunderstorm started here around 5pm, and I had noticed we had a leak in the drip systems in the gardens earlier in the day. Instead of finding shelter and staying dry, I found myself spending an hour in the rain finding and solving the drip system problem.

I have to say it feels like a clean, low level dose of cocaine that keeps you sharp for 8 hours, with no real irritability. I also drank a few beers and had a few shots of vodka tonight, and Phenylpiracetam is reputed to multiply the effects of alcohol but I only drank half my usual so no bad effects. I do feel more composed overall.

Its not a supplement that is meant to be taken daily as tolerance increases rapidly apparently.

I might wait a day and then try again thursday as I know I have a long day, including golf.

Not sure if this thread is still active BUT I've had a lot of experience with nootropics both synthetic and natural. some of my favs include:

  • Lions Mane Mushroom: Great to take long-term with lots of proven benefits. Was popular on the joe rogan podcast too:
  • Oxiracetam: Great & more potent that the other racetams. Cant take long term though.

If you boys are looking for some good domestic places to find noots i've personally tried Nootropic Source & Total Nootropics both great in Aus

Any follow up on this? Did the second time have the same response as the first time?
