1993 Mark of the year was taken by Modra with Archer as his direct opponent. No wasn’t getting him confused with Martyn. Martyn was easily distinguished by how purple he was when he got angry. Couldn’t usually see Archer’s face as he would come from behind and snipe.

Nice mark. Ian Fairley is the step ladder on that one. Arch is the bloke trying to punch from behind. One of the few times he missed everything - would have been gutted.

Any mark over Glenn Archer was a contender for MOTY since they all epitomized a triumph of good over evil
He would have been too. He used to get real upset when he couldn’t courageously punch someone in the back of the head. The Shinboner Spirit!
