They do the honourable thing by winning a game they were not expected to win to avoid the ignominy of the wooden spoon. While less ethical clubs have no problem in deliberately tanking to collect higher draft picks.

And North also doesn't derive income from problem & chronic gamblers. It gets no income from pokies Some of these clubs have no qualms bludging off an insidious industry that destroys families, causes crime and suicide.

Was just catching up on the 2017 Rising Star and noticed that Norf had no nominees. No nominees from 11 debutantes this year? I'm becoming really concerned about their future now.

Don't be. Last time we were 8th or above coming into the final round of a season, we played finals. Including the 4 years before this. We'll be right because we nail it when we need to.

I mean, how shit would it be if you hadn't made finals for well over a decade, and you blew it from 7th in the last week? That's the sort of stuff that should really concern you.

PS - plenty of those 11 debutantes played in wins against the Dees this year ... unfortunately, the same (in reverse) can't be said of your veterans, let alone your debutantes.
