Prediction North’s 2020 Fixture

Would like to read everyone’s predictions/rumours of what the 2020 fixture will be.
I don’t have any predictions of my own as of yet, however here is a list of things that I would like to see in our fixture

• Play at least 3 games at the MCG
• Play * on Good Friday (Get revenge)
• Not another interstate game in round 1
• At least 5 Friday night games (*, Richmond, Collingwood, Hawthorn, Brisbane)
• At least 14 games televised on Free to air (We had 12 this year)
• Play *, Hawthorn, Gold Coast, Richmond and Carlton twice
• Play at least 13 games on a Saturday.

Hmmmm. Whilst I couldn’t agree more with your wishes, I feel none of them will come true Boomer29er ......that list sounds like it’s the Collingwood bare minimum, with a typo in the first line.....should be 13. They’d happily play themselves on a Friday night too.

Shouldn't be able to dictate where your away games are but playing just one game at the MCG for the year is not on. Had we made the finals there was a possibility that we'd have not played there in 5 months against a team who'd been there 7 weeks in a row.

They have a whinge and are shocked when I point out that THEY get to play at the 'G more often than we do most seasons.

I'm pretty sure the deal with Tasmania stipulates that they are required to play 1 or 2 Melbourne derbies,the government wants to get as much for their money as possible,the AFL would never give Hobart an awful draw like that because they want to make North a success in Hobart.

The Tasmanian people are obviously going to reject north if they see them coming down and schedule all its rubbish games that can't draw crowds anywhere.The AFL said from day one they want to make the Tassie deal work for North and stated they plan on giving Tasmania a reasonable draw that will generate interest.
