Speaking of movies...
Now this one is a classic.
I hadn't seen this Hitchcock film before but I made the effort to watch it last night. (Mrs Dippers Donuts, being the culture vulture that she is decided instead to read the latest Vogue magazine...)
They just don't make movies like that anymore, snappy dialogue, tight directing, a real emphasis on plot and character development etc.
As for Cary Grant, well the epitome of suave sophistication that man. He would have made a brilliant James Bond me thinks.
Trivia note: The film contains one of movie history's great bloopers. In the scene where Cary Grant is shot in a restaurant, you can see the small boy at the next table covering his ears BEFORE the gun is fired!!
