"We can only call what we see, we will not guess"

Given the above, they were fine, however i feel as if they dont get into position to see many calls. Zsigmond would just about be the only guy in the Umpires Group able to keep up with todays game, (That guy can still hit a target on the *** (chest), wasted talent)

Yes, there were some dodgy calls, but there also were some great ones, Remember, they are only human

Id be quite content if they were to umpire badly all game, aslong as they consistantly called an iffy push in the back, and not just sometimes...

How did the recruits go for Charlton Footy??? Heard that the full forward looked ok till he got injured in the 2nd quarter and that Ditterich carved it up in the backline but had to come off for a rest late in the game..
Tell me more about this new pitch footy??? I did see the ground on friday but didn't see where the had the centre circle marked...

Good to see Coxy return and kick a few..

Re: North Central Football League

Full forward moved well, top bloke.. Charlton just had new cricket pitch put in and have only covered it with dirt in the past few weeks. Ants Judd decided on several occasions that he would use his head to work up the freshly planted grass. Young Cox has reported to have suffered a nasty injury to his goal kicking right leg and may miss a few. Yard Gretgrix reported to have slotted six majors during the senior game... meat pies that is

Re: North Central Football League

Just wondering if anyone from the league can provide some info on Scott TROLLOPE from Birchip Watchem. He has moved to the sunraysia area and is playing for a team in the Millewa league. Thanks in advance

Ahhh good old Wally... I think he was a selector up at Birchip at one stage in the past couple of years... I'll never forget watching him play for Watchem Corack when i was a kid.... What a scary individual he was.. Always used to collect one of two scalps each game...

only played juniors at the bulls and was ordinary. has grown about two feet since those days though, would have to be pushing 200cm.

There are only a few Watchem/ Watchem district kids playing for the bulls these days the likes of the Koops boys ( Josh and Riley) and Lachy Foott. Leon Hogan is still involved around the club, along with Mick Foott who is a selctor this year.

Re: North Central Football League

How'd young Nath Wright from Donald go on the weekend? Is he far away from a game in the 1's?
Played in the U'16s, got a bit of the footy but was not as damaging as i have seen him before. Tough conditions with the rain also. I think there has been talk of him playing in the ones. But when i am not sure?

Re: North Central Football League

Ablett's tips for the weekend.

NCFL
Boort v Charlton - by under a goal (Prediction: Perryman 7 goals)
Birchip v Savs - by under a goal (Prediction: Fiery encounter, few red cards)
Wyche v Donald - by 10 goals (Prediction: Wyche to be up at half time)
Some close matches which i believe will be the top 4 at the end of the year with Boort and Birchip getting up by under a kick. Donald should be too strong for Wyche who will unfortunately have to wait another year to get back to the rest of the field.

AFL
Port v StK - 20 points
Rich v WCE - 5 points
Carl v Bris - 5 points
Syd v Melb - 30 points
Haw v WBD - 46 points
Geel v Kan - 78 points
Freo v Adel - 1 point

I think this could be a very good prediction Ablett! and with Royce Benaim likely to get the Job on Cliff i think there's every chance it could happen in the goal square. To bad i cant be there to watch this week becasue i reckon that battle will be very interesting.

I'm tipping the Sav's to be 4 or 5 goals from their regular performance due to players out. Namely DeAraugo. Think he will be missed against a more experienced on ball brigade than Donalds was last week.

:D Too bad Benaim misses 10 times b4 he connects, by that time Ryan will have marked and kicked 7-8 on him

How far away is DeAraugo Patty? is he fit? He will ad a huge amount to the burners! Was getting 30 touches is less than average side last year.

hey roc.. how are the saints looking this year? i heard they were going to be ok but it looks like they are going back to there usual ways. that meaning they will be a disgarce again. i might have to come over and watch them soon.. after watching a couple of the saints games last year i recon luke ezard will win there best and fairest this year. is he still playing? he is a ball magnet. oh how isdaniel needs going? still playing for himself.. very selfish player.
