Re: North Central Football League

How far away is DeAraugo Patty? is he fit? He will ad a huge amount to the burners! Was getting 30 touches is less than average side last year.
"less than average" is a bit harsh bend it!
We were a good sound just out of luck:D

Nah he gets back next week i think mate. Will miss this week then should be right after that.

As for fitness... He's never been fit! cant do pre season's because of Cricket commitments and this year was no different. Wouldn't imagine he's drinking anymore over there than you do at the Jeffcott!;)

Re: North Central Football League

hey roc.. how are the saints looking this year? i heard they were going to be ok but it looks like they are going back to there usual ways. that meaning they will be a disgarce again. i might have to come over and watch them soon.. after watching a couple of the saints games last year i recon luke ezard will win there best and fairest this year. is he still playing? he is a ball magnet. oh how isdaniel needs going? still playing for himself.. very selfish player.
Numbers on paper (scores) isn't the most effective way of seeing how a side are going... if you had of seen either of the two games so far, you will have realised that there were quite a few really really good spots, however we have started off against the two sides, who were early favorites to play off in the Grand Final...

As for needs, Selfish player, ofcourse....but its that style that saw him do so well for so long, and he has shown a few great signs so far this year. He is never going to be 21 again!!

Yes Ezard is still playing

Just read your coments about a couple of starnaud players, fancy saying luke ezard is a ball magnet and as for needs i have seen him play a few times over the years and i would agree he is selfish but i still think he would be in my top 5 of best players that i have ever seen

Re: North Central Football League

Can anyone fill me in on the clearance progress of Daniel Wills for Boort? I see that he was knocked back twice, so I did a little research and found that he kicked 2 for Mitiamo on the weekend. Has the boy got cold feet and decided to stay put. If so this is dissapointing for his own improvement as a player and of course the Boort football team as he would of been a very handy asset

Maybe it was a case of "PLay the first couple of rounds for us and we will let you go" OR, he owes some sort of payment to the club he has to "play" off

Only speculation obviously

well the few games i came across and seen last year i was a huge fan of luke ezard.. his poise and balance under extreme pressure was amazing. he would have got at least 30 poss that game. i am amazed that you do not agree. yea i agree with you on daniel needs being in the top 5 players, however i do not think we will see him there again.. there comes a time when enough is enough. wat i have heard is that he is only putting his hand out for the cheque this year. only an observation.

master of roc enough with the excuses. the saints have had far to meny of them for to long now. if the scores are not the way to measure how side is then wat is? it must be really hard on the players at the moment? oh by the way how are the ballarat players going? i seen on your transfer list you have a couple..
wat are your thoughts on ezard?

Stan you should be booting home winners, as for you colin you are kidding. I have seen a few St A games over the last couple of years, Luke Ezard is the most over rated player at St A since Archibald. Apparently he went to a Ballarat league and i hear he is running around in the 2's.

Re: North Central Football League

Come on lads, there was a round of football on the weekend and i want to read all the goss!

Did birchip have any quality missing? heard the game didn't let those who were hoping for a firey contest down!

Are Charlton better than people have tipped this year? who are there performers from the weekend?

Let's get the ball rolling

Yes Wyche didn't seem to have much up forward. Seemed to get alot of the football but no target's as you have stated. I think they'll be much better next time around

Yes Charlton seem to have slipped under the radar a bit. They do have some quality local bloke's so really only need the recruit to do well.

So who is the premiership favourite? Birchip or Wedderburn? Who would have won if the conditions were perfect? Birchip seem to have the classier midfield.
