Re: North Central Football League

This weekend proves to be a rip snorter with some close games a certainty.

Boort to get over Birchip by 4 goals. Prediction: Cliff Ryan to kick 1 goal.
Charlton to beat Wedderburn by a kick. Prediction: Mark Cox kicking goal after siren
St Arnaud to beat Wyche by 5 goals. Prediction: Late comeback by the demons won't be enough.

Least those red heads you are talking about had a red hot go and the opposition would be in for a contest. The red headed coach last year would jump at his own shadow. The only reason St A will beat Wyche is cos Wyche is playing all the kids in the ones and blokes like Danny Arnold and Jake Bish are in the twos. J Lloyd will sit again if he knows blokes like that are playing twos.

When you say kids, what age group are you referring too? because St.A has kids aswell, if you look at the best for first 2 weeks they where kids age 16 and 17!

Quick update for Yall on he Progress of the St Arnaud FC Website, for those who saw the recorder on Saturday, you will know that the high school are doing a major upgrade to the site, as far as Historical items go. You will still have all the goodies of last year, including easy access to results, ladders, goalkickers, and teams.

Recently added there is Premiership Information, and Best n Fairest details

Check it out!

Re: North Central Football League

Serious question, how old would Jake (Bish) be nowdays?

Dont get me wrong, hes doing a hell of a job to be still playing, even in the 2's... The club needs help (as far as numbers/talent goes) and hes stepping up... Good Job!

Re: North Central Football League

Is that the same Wilf Dickinson that single handedly dragged the saints back to their feet before Carl Hufer sniped in and led the saints to the grand final?
Carl Hufer did not snip in any where, he played at the club and put his hand up ( on the end of his muscle ridden arm) to coach because no one else wanted it. He took the side to the grand final, although beaten on the day, he should be praised for his efforts. He can also take some responsibilitie for the 2's winning the flag that year. In 2004 after losing13 players from the previous year, they had a horror run of injuries. He still led the side on and off field with qaulity.

Yeh, he should be praised helping the two's win the flag by dropping Health McNally back after playing every game i the 1's. And he did two days earlier than normal on the Tuesday night just to let the rot really set in. Wasnt his main job was to wim a seniors flag?

Re: North Central Football League

interesting to see here that Charlton training was lacking the services of it's coach last night and from all reports will be the same thurs night. Rumour has he has done more damage to the injury that sore him miss the Boort game.. Az walklate reporte to have done hamstring in the ice bath sunday morning and club trying to attract the services of brendan yard gretgrix for the game this weekend. Hopefully he moves better than that donkey of his.....
