Re: North Central Football League

Some good match ups at Birchip this weekend. The pick of them being Reid v Lee. Very similar players, but I am sure Reidy will take the cake at the end of the day.
Other possible match ups...
Cooney v Ryan ??
Az Wilson v Scambler ??
C Ruts v ...
Ferrier v Coffey ??
Thoughts??
From what i'v seen an heard of ferrier he shouldnt worry shan to much, would there be any boys in birchip a bit pissed that ferrier is playing for boort an not birchip, he did goto school in birchip didnt he?????

Massive game at Wyche this week, i tipping the theme song will be sung by the saints for the first time since August 06.
don't under estimate wychie. If I remember correctly st.arnaud flogged wychie by 10 goals up there and when they played them again, they only won by 2 or 3 pts.

he did indeed do all his schooling at birchip. he was also signed up to play for the bulls in 2002 but lost his appeal for a clearance from berriwillock-culgoa. don't think anyone is pissed off that he's playing for boort though, people should be able to play for whoever they want. troy and sean cahoon, matt mcloughlan and brad bolden are also birchipians that have played there.

ohwhenthesaints - you sound as if you know St Arnaud pretty well, whats your opinion of Drummys effort on the field each game? every time he gets over that line, he will always go the extra mile for The Club...a great person to have around!

Yes I believe this is true. Don't think shan will worry ferrier either, particularly when they won't play on each other

Re: North Central Football League

no matter how good a FB number 16 is, if a FF is kicking 11 goals each week then its hard to be competitive. Holmes should be playing at CHB making an option up the ground!!
How are brearly and boyington going on ball after such a good year for the club last year? heard both look to have been letting themselves get bogged under a thumb rather than look after their fitness.

Is Holmes one of the new players that St. Arnaud picked up this year?
