Beautiful looking old ground here, would love to check it out one day.

Did anyone go during its hosting of AFL games?

Did it generally resemble the other grounds of the time. For example, very suburban, very basic, very damp and grey and with basic amenities? Did many people from Victorian sides travel down to watch their team?

Also why was it made redundant in favour of Bellerive. Was this intentional from the football commission down there deflect it? Did the AFL want it, and also encourage it shared with Launceston?

Also any photos would be great. It's a much nicer looking ground than Blundstone and it'd be a much more attractive and quaint, typical Hobart and Tassie sort of trip for opposition fans.

Beautiful looking ground and a much better location in comparison to Blundstone Arena. Great backdrop too. I was in Hobart during June I should've gone and had a look as all pictures indicate that it's kept in superb condition. There's talk that a Tasmania A-League bid would be based there.
