David King was completely correct with what he said today with regards to George Wardlaw’s inclusion:

Some people think they’re giving full effort, then you see a guy like George come in and it makes everyone else’s efforts look very lacklustre.

Problem is, none of those others follow George’s example.
I guess when a club recruits the likes of Darling, Daniel, Stephen’s etc … senior players who won’t defend…. then no wonder the club accepts similar efforts from draftees.

Our zone defence or whatever you call it is appalling, our oppo goes coast to coast so easily, and it’s not speed of ball movement, it’s kick kick kick to free players, cutting through our zone like a knife through butter.

Our way forward is break neck speed handballing which inevitably breaks down as it’s done under pressure and requires a level of skill we just dont have across the board.

I think it's fair to say, that if we are 1-10 going into the bye, Clarko should repay the faith of all them years ago by falling in his sword and not holding the club to ransom.

You're right. It would be a very brave call to blow $2.5m of soft-cap money to pay a bloke not to coach, and replace him with someone happy to work for peanuts.

Id ask how long the club has left and whether this downfall and treacherous run of luck, recruiting, lack of development and inevitable destruction is engineered.
