Pick 1 - Horne-Francis
Pick 20 - Best Available of J.Clarke, D.Wilmot, R.Bazzo, Z.Taylor

I’m not going to even attempt to predict who we will take with our two picks in the 40’s - Luff moneyball selections, hopefully addressing the back 6. Really like Sam Banks and the club would have had a good look at him when he trained with us.

The discussion in here the other day was that with Polec's delisting, pick #77 comes live and would be used for Archer; #72 could be used for a live pick or (more likely, according to Norths posters) a trade. An earlier pick gets more trade value for you, if that's what you do with it.

Regardless, I still expect Norths to take JHF at #1. I think this is purely a theoretical discussion.

I think we will keep that extra pick for the rookie draft or upgrade Edwards with it.

I don’t think bidding on Daicos or Darcy for the purpose of making a pick in the 70’s is really worth anyone’s trouble. I’d be surprised if the draft runs past the 50’s.

Sam Banks on the last day of his training week.

Tom Brown or Jesse Motlop a couple more good shouts in that area. I'd love to see North try get another pick in the 20s, lots of good needs based picks in that range.

McPherson will be finished in Football by the end of 2022 but if he decided to come North in 2022 could have lasted a bit longer.
So F:ck him and his management
Apparently he's been pushing it hard this offseason.

I guess thats the risk you take when you delist someone. Another club might just swoop in and offer then more money.
A taller Jed Anderson with possibly a worse kick (not knocking Jed).
Underrated player. Great get.

Wow gc got burned on that i bet they figured at 30 and injured no club would come for him but north have cap space to burn and obviously have used it to lure him. In hindsight gc should have delisted a different fringe player instead.

Jarryd Lyons is a top 15 mid in the comp, and Greenwood is also a strong B/B+ midfielder.

Both would’ve been Gc’s #1 and #2 midfielder.

Shambles of a club, like I said before the only worse list manager than Collingwood is Gold Coast.

Collingwoods list manager is fine now, Ned Guys gone and they did alright this year. Gold Coasts list managment is on a level of its own

So we've got Greenwood and we're getting the new Greenwood.

Giddy up!

I don't think North needs Greenwood though? Feel like there are other clubs in much greater need of his service - Richmond, Essendon especially.

Cunnington is your prime inside ball winner/clearance specialist, you want to give him as much midfield time as possible.

Simpkin is your #2 inside mid with a strong inside/outside mix.

Thomas/LDU are your complementary offensive mids with speed and ability to go forward.

Then you have Anderson as a defensive/tagging mid and Phillips/Powell as that next group to develop.

What's the point of Greenwood?

He's also getting on and has had a tough run with injury. If this means we can look after Cunners a bit more, I'm all for it.

He's also basically a Trent Dumont upgrade.
