Interested to see the blend of assistant coaches brought in.

Hopefully there are some great ideas people out there who want to work in a collaborative environment and feel that NMFC is a club with excellent strategic direction and leadership that they can come and make a creative contribution.

The VFL coach is the next big appointment to make

then a new fitness/s&c manager so we can replace Jona

hopefully noble has a few people in mind

Thought we had that LeBron James guy

At least there's no pressure for immediate success:

'Noble has got 2-3 years to get us in a position where we're competing regularly in the top 4 and ultimately looking to win a premiership': Kangaroos Chairman Ben Buckley

Don't add to the bullshit misinterpretation.

Buckley said - be competing for top 4 within 2-3 years.

And that winning a premiership is the ultimate goal.

Somehow some media outlets have tried to spin that as a negative to find something to slag us on.

Don't feed it.

Interesting Noble said there was a lot of coaching talent out of work at the moment - are we intending not to poach anyone else, or just pretending?
I think its just as it is said.
Plenty of good coaches out of work and we'll get a couple into the club.
Got 2 list spots open to be filled but we could easily get 1-2 more ontop of it depending on salary.

think it will be hard to poach this late for next year with preseason 2 weeks away for the young guys

will likely have to take the blokes currently not contracted at afl level for next year to fill the 2 assistant coaches spots plus the vfl head coach role

Are we interested in bringing back one or some of the coaches we had to cut due to COVID budget restraints like Heath Scotland?

Remains to be seen as his hiring was one of Shaw's decisions you'd think, they knew each other.

Its more likely Noble brings over people he earmarks and knows can help him carry out what he wants to do.

I think those bridges have been burned.
More likely we get new people that Noble knows or has worked with in the past.
From the presser it sounded like he had a couple of names in mind already.

Yep, shared without a. watching the presser (which I loved) b. looking through the bullshit.

It takes luck to win premierships, but it takes vision, skill & hard work to put a team in to contention.

We can be there in 2-3 years time.

Add another 50 games to this lot + this years draftees:

I agree mate 2-3 years is not a crazy timeframe to be right amongst it with the right tailwinds.

Think we're just calling out the media spinning Buckley's words to suit their agenda.
