I don’t think this jumper is a PI. North always had a number square that extended all the way to the top. In the mid 1980’s Collingwood had a number square that resembled this one.

I have just had a look at the eBay photos. It’s definitely NOT a PI. The V- neck is wrong. It’s too long, and narrow, and it has a horizontal weave inside the V, as opposed to a vertical weave. Players never had jumpers that had V-necks with horizontal weaves.

Admittedly this a retail North jersey from the 1980’s, but this is what the correct V-neck looked like. It’s shorter, wider, and has a vertical weave inside the V.
