Someone did, then disappeared after a week, then I ran it for a while, then someone else claimed them at the end of the season and has had nothing to do since other than post in the reconfirmation thread, which he hasn't done. You can have the team back if he doesn't do it by whenever I'm ready to start, but next time please tell me if you're going to disappear for a while, I had rizzo I could've used as a caretaker if I knew you hadn't just dropped off the face of the earth.
oh ok, didnt you get my pm?
Because if i remember correctly im pretty sure i sent you a pm before i left.
Probably should have said something in this forum though sorry.

Saints building for future
Coach wheels said before the start of trading action that he would like to invest in young players and high draft picks and thats exactly what he's done.
The Saints have picked up another first round draft pick to go with pick 2 in pick 11. The saints have also welcomed young guns David Armitage, Andrew Swallow, Tom Lynch, Steven Salopek, Andrew McQualter and Jaxson Barham, who are all under the age of 24.
Coach wheels is looking to build a core group of young hard-nut midfielders for the next 5 years while he rebuilds his struggling side.
These young hard midfielders will gel nicely with experienced midfielders Brett Kirk and Shane Tuck, who still have a role to play says Coach wheels. "On Shane, he was dropped for the latter part of the season but his work-rate at training and through the starting pre-season early has led us to believe he can still contribute and do his bit in our hard-nut midfield. Kirky is in the leadership group and still shows hes got what it takes to play AFL footy, he will help this young midfield group in their development also."

The saints have also added a few fringe players in Shannon Byrnes, Ben McGlynn, Henry Slattery and Luke Ablett.

The Saints now have picks 2, 11, 31, 42, 47 as compulsory draft picks but Coach wheels has said he will likely use one or maybe 2 more picks in the upcoming National Draft

Back on Track

The Saints have started preseason training as of today. Coach wheels has said his side needs to improve their fitness and a nice early start to training will fix this. After finishing 15th The Saints are hoping that by playing their younger players last year that now this season they will blossom.

New recruit David Armitage was one of the first players down to the track last week with Shane Tuck, who is obviously trying to show the coach he has still got something to offer. Tuck was looking at being delisted last month but there is now a glimmer of hope as Coach wheels has said Tuck still has abit too offer. The Saints have also expressed interest in Collingwoods Josh Kennedy.

Captain Daniel Giansiracusa has stated his sides ambitions next year is to play finals football. "We are hoping to make the 8 next year, we have a list full of young and exciting talent, also to go with this we will hopefully pick up 4-5 raw 18 year olds from the draft this year.

Coach wheels and Saints officials have been seen having a coffee with possible top 2 draftees Tom Scully, Jack Trengrove, Dustin Martin and Jack Butcher over the last few days.

Wheels surprised Trengrove fell to 2

The Saints have picked up exciting South Australian Jack Trengrove in this years draft at pick number 2.
Coach Wheels had this to say about Trengrove.

"Obviously we are very pleased to have selected young Jack at pick 2, we were very hopeful he would slip to pick 2 so we got our way and now we are very happy with what we've got."
Trengrove is sure to play alot of games in his first year as he played senior footy last year and dominated.

At pick 11 the Saints recrutied versatile midfielder/forward Andrew Moore.
The saints still have picks 31 and 47 to scrounge some more young talent.
