Back to the sunshine of the apple isle to play football, coming off the high of a glorious victory over the blews last week.

But I am sure Lou Richards, or was it Bobby Davis once said… A week is a long time in football.

Issac Newton certainly said that for every morale boosting win, there has to be a total downer. Cunners, The Bull and TT will miss playing this match. But nobody expected Gasometer to be indisposed, so we’re all rooting for the boys to do it for our missing stalwarts this week.

A win is a win and even though a loss might be a win, to win would be a better win. Eddie Ford gets a game and Shaun Higgins can celebrate a North Melbourne victory to mark game number 250.

Prediction: A win to the blue and white stripes.

Mixed feelings on who we take down with us as medical sub. Would love to have Lazzaro there as backup for his speed, skills and defensive pressure however mindful of the fact it might be better to get him game time with the VFL boys.

Title of the Game Day thread on the money. Would love a close contest though probably better for us to lose this one and give Higgo the milestone win.
As a two time best and fairest for the club I'll always love and respect what he gave us during his time with the Kangas. Either way the Cats will be a monumental ask with the outs that we've been dealt. Hoping for a great debut from Elvis. A win would be amazing however, totally not beyond us, and would very much show the football world just how strong our football club is tracking.

Needs some more Eddie Ford love.
Will be interesting to see how the forward line goes without Zurhaar.
Might struggle to put up a score against these stingy cats.
Hopefully LDU/Phillips can take another step and we can play our brand of footy.
Anything inside 5 goals will be good

Close to perfection. But needed one of these…View attachment 1191800
Quite possibly the most disgusting food I have ever had. Queued in Adelaide years ago for a pie floater and nearly threw up. Meat pie in mushy peas. Vomit material. Talk about ruining a good pie.

Hopefully Eddie can kick a few goals.

Going to be a good test for our young midfield group, will be very interested to see who Noble rotates in there today.
