Why is no one in the media or here even mentioning Danni Laidley? Ex-champion of the club and has the coaching experience. Sure has had some issues but if you're prepared to consider Carey then why not Laidley?

The Damien Barett talk suggesting Adam Simpson is in talks is kinda crazy thinking....

Why would someone move from effectively the richest club with a lot of support, to a the poorest club with major issues on field and off, with a terrible recent track record keeping / supporting coaches?

The go home factor? He's been in Perth for 9 year, his kids have grown up here, there friends are here.

Unless the Eagles decided they no longer want him, can't see him leaving any time soon.

Who do they want? Clarko should be the guy everyone is after, but if he's out, North would be crazy not to try for Simpson - unless they want an untried coach.

Wayne and Kelly made a bad mistake at a party, both equally to blame, then Kelli and Anthony stayed together for 6 more years, then Anthony married someone else.
That footy game promoted by 7 was a disgrace as people tuned in to watch coward punch Archer and Stevo try to be heros and bash Wayne.
Archer is a tool.
It was all about 'that's Stevo's possession, he owns her and you took something he owned and now we're gonna be cavemen in front of the nation and start throwing punches because someone's pride was hurt.
Stevo forgave Kelli so why not Wayne.
Also Wayne put up with the media deriding him for years and years.
He copped enough punishment.
But apparantly he's a a-hole forever and Gary Lyon is a good citizen?
How much more punishment do you want to give for an incident 20 years ago?

It's my understanding that Billy and Nicky had split up when Gary got together with Nicky.

That being said you're not wrong about how Kelli was forgiven over Carey. If you wanna have a dig at Wayne, he's given us much better ammunition over the years.
