North Sydney Oval trial game

Essendon's pre-season campaign will kick off in Sydney again this year, with the Bombers taking on Sydney at North Sydney Oval on Sunday 16th February - match starts at 4pm. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at Ticketek - it might be an idea to pre-book; it's unlikely the game will sell out but there were long queues at the gates last year.
I'll be there. Anyone else going?

It's a great chance to see the young blokes have a go.

Looking forward to seeing how well David Hille has come up, Sam Hunt too and the new crop of rookies might get some time.

By the way, does this match qualify as a "practice match" and therefore free entry to all EFC members?

I'd never given it a moment's thought before, but my 2003 renewal did make the statement that any practice match in which Essendon participates is free entry to members.
