Felt like a game of almosts. So many times it just went wrong at the last second - including catching them dead holding the ball on at least 3 occasions and getting nothing. If we were in this season I'd be pissed off about that game in every way.

Umpires are a laugh a minute. I watched one tonight tell a player "It's on the 50, it's on the 50" and then demand that he steps back off the giant red and white 50m line that he's standing the mark.

We’re tanking. Obvious directive to play the chip it at every opportunity game plan. The other week it was the, take the 45 every time, and another week it was play on with hands at every opportunity.
We’re just working our way through different game styles to teach the players when and how they work. When the boys are just allowed to play they’ll understand which game styles to use, and hopefully when to use it.

Mean while, we’ll get another 2 gun mids at the end of the year.
