...Robert Scott Cup. How about it?

Step aside, Brad and Chris. The 1996 premiership hero Robert is the first and greatest Scott synonymous with our great clubs.

Robert, it's an privilege to battle for the cup named in your honour.

PS: 132 games for Geelong and 113 for North. We bags any gun kids. :D

I remember the day Scott played a great game.
89 Prelim. Played as a decoy for gazza :)

The winning coach will win the perpetual Malcolm Blight trophy.
Leading goalscorer will win the Doug Wade trophy.
Best on ground will win the Moooooooooney Medal.
Pre-game entertainment will include the Brad Sholl trophy for best handstand.

I like it.

This thread highlights the fact that there really has been a fair bit of transfer activity between the two clubs over the past twenty years or so.
In Wayne Carey's book he talks about the two teams spending time together in the summer playing cricket and other things, and everyone getting on really well because so many had been on both lists.

Thanks, UYI. Never heard about that before. Makes sense, though.

And now we have the twin brothers coaching the two units and 'practice matches' played against one another in the off-season.

If the HMac deal ever works out for us I could maybe get to like your mob.:D
