Just because we haven't played perfectly doesn't mean that flagrantly one sided umpiring hasn't been decisive. They got three goals and one goal assist in the first half from dubious frees alone. That's not including our non-frees also. Scorelines have a massive impact on players and how the game is played.

That perfectly sums up this game. Up until the third it was a genuine arm wrestle, Roos even doing better. I think they started to run out of puff mid third though.

Would have like to see the result if we had a lead at half time, with some reward for our hard work instead of the umpire blunders that resulted in a 3 goal swing!
