Why do people automatically default to pessimism mode because a slightly built kid that just turned 20 hasn't debuted in the AFL yet?

We have the constant issue of foot disposal being raised and this kid can actually kick with his left & right foot and consistently hit targets. The kid was an AA player in his junior years who missed his entire draft year with syndesmosis, and should be viewed in a similar light as Kyron Hayden.
