Watching the Fox Sports feed, derm has laughed at a few missed/poor decisions but no word on the impact. So disappointing that the afl media are too scared to upset city hall. Bullshit!

We desperately miss Higgins. We just have zero clean possession in the midfield.

This game has been lost through sheer class in the middle. Anderson and Cunners have been great but Dumont, Jy, LDU are trying really hard and doing some good things but just don't seem to have the body size to compete for the hard ball consistently. It's also clear our mids just aren't spreading - they are all diving in on it and when we lose it there are plenty of Port players on the outside just waiting to go.

Very poor games from our runners too. Jmac awful, lmac very close behind, Hartung quiet, Atley quiet. Compare that to the same position players at Port and we are miles behind.

It was always going to be the Wingards, neades, Gray's who were going to beat us and that's been the case so far.

Hope we can have a big crack this last quarter

Hartungs wrist well and truly held while he's trying to pick up the ball, not sure thats legal... Funnily if he hadn't of got it out it would have been a free against

Simpkin has showed a little more than a couple of glimpse for the first time, LDU started the 1st quarter okay but has struggled to both find the ball and use it.

Tarpies are playing far better than North. I sometimes wonder if that's because of the umpiring, or if the umpiring tends to favour the team that's playing better. Maybe it's a bit of each, but on days like today the rub has certainly been with Port. Port have played better up this point in the game, but if some of the decisions that could have been paid had gone North's way the game could still be in the balance.

nothing to do with umpiring, they are actually pretty mobile, cant say why they havnt been running previous weeks, they moved it pretty well today also.
