Gaso, you need to start creating GDTs once the season proper comes around. Had to take one of the most annoying posters on here off ignore to find this.

McKay has been a real concern for me today, especially if Tarrant doesn't get up for Round 1. Scott and LDU are going to be very hard to leave out of the Round 1 team based on their form in the 2 JLT games.

So right now, these are my thoughts:

- Atley actually looks ok in defence, he stays there because he actually gives run;
- TT is an upgrade on Simpkin as a forward
- Scott and LDU are certs for Rd 1, Tyson not so much;
- Need to see Larkey forward as we have a pretty average group without another marking target;
- Wood just not AFL standard at the minute;
- LMac is frustrating, can be good but just doesn't have a great footy brain;
- Getting less and less confident in BMac. Maybe a move forward once we get some talls back?

How many do Port have out? Hartlett?

We don’t have Goldstein, Cunnington, Tarrant, Anderson, Daw, Jacobs and now Williams just for starters.

If we clean up our ball use we would be I front of them with a depleted line up.

This is port's grand final so I'm not too worried. They've put their entire pre-season into this game because of the Pittard and Polec anger. Only 2 goals better and North are in cruise control. If this was a proper game we'd be 10 goals up

There can be only one...
Jacobs is good but he can’t tag all of them!
You think people get easy possessions on Cunnington and Anderson? We were beating top 4 teams last year with those four all in the side. We now have Polec and Hall to help out Higgins. Ahern and LDU look like they have gone up a gear, Scott is looking great. I am not sure why people would be pessimistic.

So much good - Ahern, LDU and Scott. So much bad - lack of composure and ball use in defense - got to get Hall and or Higgins back there - McDonald, Pittard and Williams liabilities.

I think there are a lot of positives. My negative is that I don't know how far the coaching panel will go backing in those guys at the expense of Hrovat, Simpkin, LMac and the like

What we don't really know is which team (if either) is fair dinkum. At the end of the day its a praccy match win or lose.
It’s the last preseason game before the season proper starts so you’d think they would be more fair dinkum than not. But the issue for them is about three quarters of their goals came from direct mistakes by us with little or no pressure. They didn’t create them, we gifted them, and in some cases we wrapped them in gold.
