Welcome back Luke Russell, Sheehan, Sumner, Gorringe, Korcheck, Lamb

[deep breath]

... and Macreadie.

Possibility of live audio via the Collingwood website; will post info as it comes to hand.
With ASOS being elevated, I think you'll find they'll tuck Macreadie away here until after the bye when Byrne comes off the LTI. Would like to see him get another half a dozen games towards the back end of the year to hold him in good stead for next season.

Hmmmm......wonder if the bell might have tolled for Glass-McCasker. Would have to be playing at least decent footy at this level rather than in the development squad to be retained you would think. Kane Keppel demonstrated last week that he appears to be a level above JGM. Came on as 23rd man and had 15 possessions, 4 marks, 4 tackles, 3 rebound 50s, 2 inside 50s & runs hard. Not bad considering he didn't play the whole game. Will be interesting to follow his as Stavrou's progress during the year.

Although it was against a lessor opponent last week, it was good to see Kerr step it up again. The thing that really caught my eye was 11 marks as it shows that he is making enough of a presence on the ground that his team mates are seeking him out. If he can take it up yet another notch and acquire 20+ touches and kick 4-5 goals in each of the next 3 matches then he puts himself right under the selectors noses and presents a case that may be hard to ignore. Sounds a bit like a kid called Jack last year who was also taken with a late pick doesn't it???

JGM has a crack in his jaw from the R2 clash. The development league team has a bye.

Favourites to win this one? Collingwood haven't exactly set the world on fire so far but they may have had tougher opponents.
We would be clear favourites i'd imagine.

We are 2-1 with a percentage of 121%
They are 1-2 with a percentage of 66%

Just looking at the teams, we have a pretty strong team in with a lot of Carlton players...although the elevation of Thomas, Kerridge, Graham & Smedts in the last 2 weeks really weakens the midfield.

I've had a look at their team...and most are VFL players i've never heard of or spuds like Mayne, Jesse White, Josh Thomas etc

Pretty sure the Pies board has been saying that it will be live streamed. I assumed that meant video.

Lost my wallet at that hell-hole in '84 in front of the scoreboard after a drunken binge.

Will have a Bankcard, Waltons credit card and PKIU Union card inside.

If found, pls return c/Big Footy.

Reward upon return.
Was there a few years back watching an U18 game.
Terrific old ground, but it really needs some work done to it.
The outer wing was atrocious.

Even I am not fan enough to listen to a vfl games audio stream

Seems so! Last year they published audio links on the day of the game, but it seems this game will be done via Telstra's video streaming services, so expect a video on their site, and available via the Collingwood app.

So our choices are; download the Collingwood app, or go to their website?
Not sure I can do either of those.

Feel for Jaksch being thrown down back, if he indeed starts there.
Would likely know there's little hope of making good doing so.

ASilvagni leave a big hole in this team and we may feel it tomorrow.
Neither O'Shea nor Russell have yet brought along any particularly special to the NB's. Time for them to step up.

Talking about stepping up; Polson & Pickett will want to do a lot better than last week.....and they probably will.

Could be a good game.

Liked oshea's first couple of hit outs. Not so much on the weekend .

He's made the VFL squad .
O'Shea was ordinary against Port Melbourne.
The back-line will need to stand up without A.Silvagni and JGM, but there should be enough quality there.

There'll be plenty of Pies supporters there following Brown & Daicos................but not so much White & Mayne.:)

Interesting that Sumner isn't in the final team.
