Ex Blue Cameron Cloke won Bundoora a premiership last Saturday. A renowned judge of football, who is not easily impressed, told me he played a legendary last Q in the GF. Versus Heildelberg, who had beaten them 4/4 grannies in the last decade, and who were kicking with the wind in the last, Cameron marked everything. As Heidelberg kicked points he marked kick in after kick in, despite them having the League's leading ruckman and double teaming him, they simply could not stop him marking.

Kreuze's brother plays for the Buns too along with Mark of the Century bumber Gary Morecroft, who is still bagging tons of goals in Metro leagues.

Well done Cam. Was hard done by at the Blues. Always did something of value when he was playing, I thought.

Cant fault him as a footballer...

I just think that the club didnt want his father showing up to any more of our matches and we couldnt legitimately ban him from attending.

And congrats to him on his success this year.

I liked Cam, was only a pinch-hitting ruck but did what we need. Didn't move too quick but was surprisingly decent when he got on the lead and could be a handy forward sometimes. Is a bit of a shame but good to see he's still enjoying his footy in other places.

He has always been a good footballer. I didn't want us to let him go, but I guess the work rate isn't always there.

He can play, there's no doubt about that. Good on him. :thumbsu:
I don't think he had any work rate issues when he was at Carlton. I think the penny dropped when Collingwood delisted him and his change in body shape and fitness was clear to see when he was with us. With the new sub rule, Cloke would be a good fit for an AFL club in the second ruck role.

I was at the game and have been at the majority of Bundoora's games this year.
He is the best player in the NFL by a country mile (a league also boasting Presti, A Rocca, Nick Stevens, Justin Murphy, Adam Houlihan, our ex-rookie Luke Stanton and so many others) but loses the plot and acts like a turkey every second week.
Having said that, I've come to know him on a personal level...and he's a pretty decent kind of kid when it's adult to adult.
John Kreuzer, on the other hand, is not a patch on his little champion brother, but murders Matthew in the arrogance department.

Agree 100% re cloke. He could have achieved anything and everything this year but like you said was just to undisciplined at stages.

A lot of my mates know him & the thing everyone says is "Travis is a really nice guy, But Cameron is a smart ass wanka"

He got his mate to walk up to my Girlfriend when she was eating her lunch & say "Cameron thinks you got great tits" whilst cameron stood in the distance and gave her a wink

So yeah glad he is not at Carlton anymore & was happy Big Irish put him in his place :D

The Clokes don't live too far from me (I have a few nasty things to say about Teagan Cloke, but that's another story) and I've only heard good things from the locals.

Then again, maybe Setanta had reason to knock him.
