Northern v Southern Hemisphere

I was wondering what others had heard about this prposed match? All I have heard is that it is planned for Novemebr sometime when the Wallabies, Springboks, All Blacks and Pumas will all be in Europe on various tours.

There was something about at least 3 players from each country. Does anyone know anything?

The Northern players play too many games anyway without having this chucked at them.

You couldn't be more wrong. The amount of rivalry between the hemispheres is heaps. It would make for an awesome match and be so popular.

Its really a timing issue. The IRB needs to address player welfare and come up with a more structured season were it benefits all rugby countries.

The Nth v Sth match was cancelled for this year, as some of the 6Ns and 3Ns unions did not submit player availability. Plus there wasn't much help from the Players Union association.

Looks like the IRB are back to the drawing board with this one. ITs was a great idea, for a good cause and I hope to see it put up again sometime soon.

As soon as the IRB realise they don't run the game everyone will be better off.
