SA Should have made the choice easy for people in SA by admitting the Norwood Football Club and Port Adelaide into the VFL back in 1985....

and for all the 'abandoners' they could have made up , as they did a composite state side called the Adelaide Crows.

That way all those two bit losers could have their state team to follow... The Crows..
'The subscribers', Crows followers, could put their prospectus's in and take up their yearly shares in the corporation.

and Norwood and Port supporters could follow their clubs.

Unfortunately for Norwood they are left to languish forever in a state based league, whilst Port Adelaide have left and joined the AFL.

You are an pompous so-and-so (I wouldn’t want to offend you with any ‘personal abuse’. But I’m sure you’ll thank me for my contribution). With posts like that, it is clearer than ever that your intention to incite abuse, so you can then respond in a patronising manner. Well, your façade has been recognised.

The choice for people in SA IS easy. Either follow the Adelaide Crows, a local AFL club with no previous history before its entry into the competition, or follow Port Power, the plebian rabble which is now an AFL side. The public has made its choice. Despite unsuccessful years before the two flags and two more lean years since, Adelaide still attracts widespread support and crowds of 40,000-plus to its matches. Port Power, despite its oft-trumpeted proud SANFL history and supposedly diehard supporters, has been largely deserted by its fans while failing to attract any new ones.

Yet here you are, flinging insults at the Crows. Surely it can’t be jealously, as you belong to a so-called “great” club, one that has made virtually no impression on the league in its four years at the highest level. How bitter you must be at Port Power’s failings, when they were supposed to take everybody by storm.

Thankyou for reminding me why I hate Port Adelaide.

Daniel,
What has suddenly brought this on ?
I am simply astounded by your attack.
Pompous ? choices, Port Power ? What are you on about ?

Look Daniel, all I am about is putting thought provoking ideas out for debate, If you have a problem with that , Im sorry.
I have no desire to enter into defensive or abusive arguments.

I have absolutely no , NO idea what has brought you to write the kind of abuse that you have just posted.

You can follow your beloved Crows, good on you... I have no problem or argument with you on your personal choice there.

However I am pointing out a situation that arose in 1985 when the VFL approached Port and Norwood to join their competition.

How on earth that has driven you to set upon my post and me with such vehemence is unbelievable.

Wake up and smell the roses and see what I have to say for what it is, stimulating conversation.

No offence is intended, If you choose to be offended I cant do anything about that as my opinions or factual information posted is for interests sake and conversation only

yours respectfully

Dons-r-tops,
Cute, real cute!!!

What did you think of Essendons annihilation
of the Kangaroos.

I cant ever remember a team that has such complete domination of a season before.

PA1870,

If I have misinterpreted your post, then I apologise. After following most of your postings, it appeared to me that it was your intention to provoke people, under the guise of interesting posts. Your last post just acted as confirmation. Again, sorry if that assessment is incorrect.

However, it was an easy mistake to make given your description of Crows "abandoners" as "two-bit losers". Is that genuine thought-provoking discussion, or is it similar to the "abuse" you find so distasteful?

Perhaps you should review your first post on this thread.

Regards,
Daniel
