can't wait till the actual season starts, 6 months with no footy, NOT GOOD!

The Ansett cup is as boring as soccer. We don't need the stupid thing, extend the season. The players wouldn't mind if they play in 30 degree heat. I just trained in 35 degree heat for an hour and a half doing basically running. So the heat shouldn't be a bad factor for em. If i can survive the heat, they can. So in the end it goes down to whether the folk Wayne Jackson etc etc want to ditch this Ansett Cup nonsense and get on with the real thing earlier when the Ansett Cup will be.

completely advertising driven concept

good for the players to get match fitness & remember teammates names & wear in new boots.

as for a great competition? no way
