Dont get me wrong Nort power fans if its true and serious as it suggests im afraid your season is over before it starts.To be fast approaching the new season and to have team mates in dispute and quarrelling and not turning up at team meetings is absolutely disasterous,and i hope for your sake you clean things up pretty quick.If you let this linger you will suffer the consequences,keep me posted ok.

Jerome, the story on the news was that Montgomery had a verbal spat with Lockwood (I think) after the NT game. Left NT on a different plane to the rest of the Power team. Didn't turn up at a team meeting held to discuss the issue. Got fined $5000 or something by the meeting. Has left and returned to Melbourne.

Something like that. Details may be wrong, I'm quoting the news story from memory.

Thanks mj. The PAFC tonight released a press statement saying rumours that "their season was over before it starts" were completely untrue. Meanwhile CFC released a statement saying reports they might finish above Port this season were greatly exaggerated.

Clubs are remarkably even and any internal strife will send any club towards the bottom of the ladder.

Port is mentioned here but any of : Carlton, Collingwood, WCE, Adelaide, Brisbane, St Kilda could be down there if things deteriorate. If this were so, Carlton, WCE, Adelaide should be able to avoid the spoon but the others look good for it at this stage.

For St Kilda, 3 wins and up will be an improvement.

I mentioned 7 teams, i they all did poorly then the other 9 teams took good for the finals (Richmond to come 9th)

Really man, I thought you knew the truth, Collingwood forfeits the right to be called "MAGPIES" after they finish stone motherless last in season 2001.

The MAGPIE name is not a right, it is a gift, from Port Adelaide to those we feel worthy of it. Clearly Collingwood are no longer worthy, and after this season the pretend Pies, Collingwood, will become known as the "Lame Dicks"

Black and White colours are also gifts from Port Adelaide, so after this year Collingwood will revert to Skin Pink and white, Eddie will try to enlist the manufacturers of Viagra as your major sponsor to add some stiffness to your side, all to no avail, as reporters comment on how much your players look like "spent dicks", dribbling from the mouth.

CIK, TT can keep my statement for the next 5 seasons for all I care. Richmond have proved nothing over recent years to say that they will improve. You don't have to be a genius to work out that Daffy, Knights, Gale, Campbell Richo and co are past their use by date. If they couldn't get you to the finals in their prime, they sure are not going to get you there now. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, big deal. The odds are on my side anyway.

Yes, you are right, they have been pretty ordinary, and need to improve a lot, but that doesn't mean they won't finish in front of the Power Failure. And the odds are anything BUT on your side!

CIK, Maybe you should worry about your team. I have just come home from spending the night at the Grand Hotel here in Adelaide and I was interested to see your mate Wayne Carey drinking away. He seemed more pissed than I was. His mate John Longmire wasn't there so Carey didn't get up to his usual tricks but its great to see he is putting in the extra work for pre season.
