Not receiving notifications when account I'm following posts into a thread?

I'm following a few members, but have realised I never actually receive any notifications at the top right when they post into a thread. I've checked my settings and the only box I have ticked is Receive alerts when: "User replies into thread"
Is this a known issue or is there another settings which is conflicting?

Yeah I have it selected. I want it for whenever they post though - I don't "watch" forums or threads.

I do receive alerts for people who quote or like my posts. Just no longer receive any alerts for those I follow. It's weird.

I hope it returns because it's been the best recent addition. Great for people who want to just content consume and read from a select few.

I'm still tyring to figure out which addon controlled it. The feature seems to have disappeared entirely.
