Hope I’m proven wrong, but Josh Carmichael had shown glimpses last year coming on as a sub, but at this stage in his career, his VFL performance vs AFL performance has a massive disparity of standard. Just doesn’t seem fast/fit enough at the moment for the top level. If he can just get more fitness and composure up to AFL standard, he can add value.

But George Horlin-Smith and Charlie Constable - traded to GCS - are good past examples. Dominate the VFL, not good enough for AFL.
