Once I was walking near the Yarra at dusk. I saw a 1m long snake and jumped 2 metres backwards.
Turned out it was a stick.
Given that ratio, if we put some real snakes near you, you have Olympic long-jump potential!





Townies

, our family pet that had been with us for 15 years. The snake, a brown, had little teeth marks up and down its belly. What we think happened was Lily our Jack Russell had caught it and had been biting it, it was slowly dying and Bart our old dog, must have gone over to have a look and got bitten.

Next year's fixturing will be interesting, particularly in respect of how many games we get at the G. We should absolutely play the Pies and Geelong there at any/every opportunity given the stars we have on our list at the moment. We'd pack the place out against the Pies and draw a huge crowd against Geelong.
