Hey, my wife and I are most likely taking our 6 month old to his first game on the weekend. Any suggestions or recommendations from anyone from when they did the same?
We sit on level 3. I was told not to hold my baby over the railing and to stop swearing in front of her. At 4 months I think she didn't mind too much.

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS

Sit near the baby change rooms. Go with plenty of family to pass the baby around! Baby born harness is better than a pram for the footy IMO.

Ear muffs are good. The Hawks game was too much for her, but she settled with the ear muffs.

Easton had a beautiful shiner on his left eye at least. Saw it perfectly clearly as the came out of the race on Friday night as he was walking backwards facing the boys (and us).

Was in the promotional pics in the HUN on Friday that were taken on Thursday. Either happened during Lions game or at training. Looked fairly fresh, so thinking the latter.

Well I know where Murph is. Sitting with my uncle having a drink at his restaurant in Lygon st. The old man is spewing, as he's a chef there and this is his night off.
Get much out of him? not just about his immediate future but anything worthy of a mention at all?

My dad had a five minute conversation with him on the phone. All he said was his op went well and the knee is what it is.
But he said he's bringing a few of the boys in to get a feed when my old man's on shift so we'll see. I might even have to visit the uncle that night.

What restaurant? What do they dish up? Might wander down at some point. Support fellow Dog fans' businesses :)

Piccolo Mondo. Italian. Specialty is seafood. Food's pretty good, especially when my Dad or aunty's cooking. Chuck us a pm if you ever wander by I'll let them know to look after a fellow doggy.

What's the go with this "Charles Sutton Premiership Circle"? Is there any real difference between this and being a social club member?

Surely the grand final ticket access is the only reason most sign-up as social club members (aside from additional monetary support of the club). That's certainly the case for me.

Seems as though social club members have just been demoted from 'Priority 1' to 'Priority 2' for club GF tickets if we were to make it in the future.

It just seems like a pointless additional level of membership.

Remember when the team used to frequent Dimattinas? Is it still there?

(I'll remember that Nutella mousse next time I'm in town :tongueout:)
Yeah, it's there. Dimma doesn't get in there too often these days, as he's usually at Society, in Bourke St.
Not sure where the Dogs players go these days.

I recall taking a bunch of year 10 country kids into Dimattina's for dinner when we had a school camp in Melbourne many years ago.
Most of the Dogs players arrived just after we did. Never seen so many girls swoon watching Granty, N Brown and Gia pass by!

Good night was had by all!

Would also be interesting to know who did either prep to year 12 or year 7 to year 12 compared to who came in late on a scholarship. Only one I know the answer to is Macrae who started at Carey in grade prep.

I don't know why I have an interest in this stuff, but I do.
Fletcher Roberts was Melbourne Grammar (pretty sure)
