Thanks for posting that. I'm following Mohamed on Twitter now and will make contact with him to see if there is anything I can do to help him get over here to see some games. I'll keep you posted but I won't accept that we won't give this guy a visitors' visa. Let's see what we can do.
Onya Mutt. We'll get around him in a big way when he comes down under.

Guys,
Just saw the tributes to Leezorr thread and started to think about Topdog69. Remember him? He of the "mangled English" posts and deep passion for the Dogs. I remember him saying he was very crook at one stage. Has anyone heard how he's going?

Told us that he was essentially on his death bed and then we never heard from him again. He had been terminal for a while from what he told us so there was no chance of recovery or anything. He has either passed on or he is now too unwell to access bigfooty. I hope he is at peace. He was a great personality around here and he will be missed by all of us. I believe that the last thing he asked was how Marcus Adams went in round one. I think he would be bloody proud of that kids season so far. Whenever I see Marcus Adams take some big intercept marks or make some big plays I always spare a thought for TD69 and hope he is watching somewhere.

FFS just realised against Geelong in two weeks time:

Bartel plays his 300th game against us, and
Enright breaks Geelong's games record.

FFS they will be up and about.
The last time they had a 300th game milestone they lost to Melbourne at Kardinia Park. Let's hope for something similar.

How is the recruiting process going to take place for Women's football in 2017? Is it a drafting system?
I believe the process will be:

1. Marquee signings (two to each club)
2. State based draft (so you will be only drafting players from your state, most would have full time jobs, study etc)
3. Free Agency Period (any players undrafted who are willing to play interstate get their chance here to be signed).
