You appeared on World of Sport, and spoke with Lou. And you're wearing a VFL guernsey. You truly have lived.

I spoke to Lou at a sportman's night, he said to me "have you got an effing smoke" and I said I don't smoke Mr Richards

Comparing the Preliminary Finals and Grand Finals of the 2004 Power to the 2016 Bulldogs.

2mcdfzo.png

Comparing the two PFs, the final winning margins are identical. Both Port and the WB came from one point down at 3QT to win. The HT margins are also very similar. All in all, not much were separating the two sides at any stage in both of these games.

In the GFs, the team going on to win the flag both lead at QT and 3QT while trailing narrowly at HT.

In addition to that, Port Adelaide knew exactly what it was like to fail and choke. They had finished top four in the previous three seasons, having been knocked out in the PF in the previous two seasons. We can definitely relate to that.

Also, when I think about memorable moments from coaches immediately after the GF, I think of Mark Williams in 2004 (pretending to tie a noose around his neck with his tie, to symbolise a choking motion, as well as being on the dias and shouting, "Alan Scott, you were wrong"). The second memorable moment - Bevo obviously giving his Jock McHale Medal to Bob was symbolic.

Also in their premiership season, Port Adelaide's captain Matthew Primus did his knee in round three against Hawthorn, forcing him to miss the rest of the season. Similarly, Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy also did his knee, also in round three, and also against Hawthorn. He too missed the rest of the season.

I know you're referring to my post in the thread "If we make another Grand Final, what would you do differently", but a lesson for you is to do your research before attempting to insult me. Despite the two losses accumulating $900 I had in the SF and PF weeks, I still managed to net profits in those weeks and my spread sheets since April of 2012 are $3,000 away from reaching the $100k mark in profit.

Also, it's not a good idea to roll your eyes. If the wind changes direction as you're rolling your eyes, you'll end up looking like this.

You think too much, there is no betting information under
the 2004 stats you presented where as the 2016 stats
have betting information included. I was only joking in
your other thread what you do with your money is
your business. :thumbsu:
