Where is the critisism from everyone about Collingwood. Oh yes, of course we won. 16th position at the end of the year is what I have been hearing from other clubs supporters. Do the morons who predicted this stll think this? If we are apparently no good then where does this leave the Dockers? Can't win at home, can't win away. I am loving the silence from everyone.

If you think there's silence around Collingwood (there is NEVER silence around Collingwood), how about the silence around Hawthorn? After your win over that AFL powerhouse Fremantle (congrats, by the way) I guess our thumping of Carlton at Optus Oval kinda pales into insignificance.

I suppose you'll react to home wins over West Coast and Adelaide with the same chest thumping. And for anyone who tipped Collingwood to finish last, shame on you. They'll storm to 15th this year, maybe even 14th. Yes, they're that good.

Quaking in my boots.

I've just bought the Sunday papers, and apparently Collingwood have defeated a half strength Fremantle by three goals at Colonial Stadium last night.

There's only one solution. I call on the other fifteen teams to submit gracefully, withdraw from the competition and allow the Maggies to march through the remainder of the season to an inevitable premiership.

How can any of us be expected to stand up to such an all-powerful juggernaut. The Dockers! They've beaten the Dockers! Lord help us.

Message to all Bombers fans - find something else to do on Anzac Day. How will you compete with Collngwood? They beat the Dockers!

What the **** is wrong with you? You do not have one good thing to say about Collingwood so you? GET OVER IT!!!!

By the way, half strength...lol, and yeah I'm off to line up for my Grand Final ticket too. You honestly don't get sarcasm do you?

Perhaps if I got an education it would mean something to me?

Now there's the barrel, and there's the fish. Where did I put my gun?

BANG!

I've shot another one!

I am not exaggerating. West coast were put last by plenty of people but I didn't mean from bigfooty only. Out of all of my Family friends and players from the local footy club most people think that we will be last. I didn't hear any critisism from them today either.

you are a sad and dejected follower of a club that is in its last few years!!!

freo is widely accepted as wood material, with about 3-4 others. Your club defeated them and you seem satisfied that the footy world actually rates your club now.... as we haven't bagged you for a few days...maybe its just not worth it....or evan better we are still giving it to all blues fans!!!! TAKE IT

Yay! A crushing 17 point anyolation of the Fremantle Docers on your home turf (who even yourself said could not play at home or away) has Collingwood back on track.
Better get in the quew now for finals tickets!

Since when has Colonial stadium been our home turf? The last I heard the MCG was our home turf. Death valley stadium is the home ground for the dogs, bombers and saints.

I am P*SSED off with the Pies' current tendancy to not take the game by the scruff of the neck when it is presented to them!

Too many should'ves! Sure they're genuine should'ves, but we know that doesn't count.

Should've beaten hawks by five goals - True.

Should've beaten dockers by ten goals - True.

But we didn't. All I take out of the game is that we won, that Nathan Buckley is the best player in the comp, Josh Fraser will be the best player in the comp and if Tarrant stops lairising he could average 20 marks per game!

It is still early in the season and there is plenty of time for our team to gel as a unit. We are a MUCH better team this year and will knock over more teams than non-Pie-supporters give us credit for.

Oh and Danny Bonaduce Fan Club, stop posting on Collingwood threads. You are a dill. Half strength Freo? Missing Clem Michael is the only problem they have at the minute. Waterhouse and Metropolis are so incredibly overrated it isn't funny. Not having Scott Burns, Damien Adkins and James Clement are a far greater loss than those players! And when Nick Davis is fully match fit again, we will have another champion to add to the list! Oh yeah, Didak might get a kick this year also!

And lets not forget Ant Rocca, who cleaned up in the reserves. Like I said before, he had a bad day and shouldn't have been dropped. He will have learned his lesson and he will be back next week to stick a Dr Harry Cooper certified thermometer up the dog's behinds.

He didnt have a bad day, he was beaten by a better player on the day

Figgy, I'm not a dill - the dill is the bloke who keeps replying to me. As long as he sticks to the wading pool and doesn't get out of his depth, all will be well.

Waterhouse is an important player for the Dockers, because he can hold down CHF and allow Pavlich and Schell to play on flanks on smaller, weaker opponents. I rate his ability (not his application), and even if others don't, they should still be able to see the balance and variety he could bring to a Fremantle forward line.

The importance of Clem Michael missing is underscored by Steve McKee playing well - surely this would not have happened if there was any capable ruckman on the park for the Shockers. Then it would have been McKee back to the bench where he belongs, and Fraser in the ruck where he is less damaging. Also remember that Peter Bell was underdone.

And a question for you Figgy - if it takes your boy 46 possessions to beat the Dockers by three goals, the rest of the Maggies couldn't be going too well, could they?

Like I said in my earlier post, we killed 'em and should've won by ten. My Maggies are doing alright. We NEVER looked like losing.

Firstly I'd take Rocca over Waterhouse any day of the week!

I've personally never knocked McKee, I've always thought that he is a 22 year old ruckman, with obvious glimpses of talent, who has played 28 games of footy in three year, which isn't nearly enough to say that he has had enough of a taste to be up with the AFL pace. I think he could be a reasonable nulifying ruckman, which with any luck will see Rogan (who is simply unbelievably talented) play where he friggen well should (ie. CHF).

We have an outstanding tap ruckman with magnificent skills two years away - Guy Richards.

Peter Bell underdone! We have plenty who could claim the same. Licuria, Davis, Burns etc, which I think this is why our finishing has been rubbish.

But like I said, I am not completely unhappy. Based on current form, we are a better team than than the Crockers. And based on current form, excluding the result, we are a better team than Hawthorn. And our best is yet to come buddy!

Nope. I still think the Fagpies are sh*thouse, just why should I bring it up again ??? But seeing as you started a thread for it then why not.
You Collingwood fans will celebrating if you dont come last.
".... for a team expected to finish last we did well.." blah blah blah. Just because you may manage to finish above 16th, doesnt mean you arent the same sh*t magpie side that everyones been laughing at for years.

shut up until you actually have something to brag about.

Cleaned up in the reserves? Kicked one goal in a game they won by ten and didn't figure in the best players. Yep a blinder all right, quick bring him back! Oh hang on, maybe you meant he got cleaned up in the reserves....

Danny Chook has some good points, which can only lead me to suggest that Collingwood will be terrible again this year.

Rocca rather than Waterhouse is absolutely hilarious Hahahahahaahahahahahah.

Rocca is back playing footy where he belongs .... in the reserves.

The way Buckley played, he could have been the only Collingwood player on the ground and still beaten the Dockers with the amount of the footy, use of it and on the scoreboard.
