A 2-3 loss to FC Midtjylland ... sigh. Again felt we were the better side for large parts. Chris Wood hits the back of the net three times .. but Anderson offside for one and he the other. Some poor defensive efforts and good set piece play by the Danes. All seems to be Ange's fault not the skill errors by players on the pitch? 🤷‍♂️ .. I hope he gets the time he needs but who knows?

If they had social media in 1975 Brian Clough would have probably been sacked - when he commenced he had no wins from January 9 to April 1 1975.

I'm anges biggest fan and even I reckon he's gone by the end of the month.
Teams are playing more direct now, Liverpool who are trying to move towards a more possession and controlled higher up the pitch team are struggling defensively

Forest the same but worse. I think inverting full backs and playing a slower tempo doesn't work anymore

It's not good .. saw some chat about how Forest are ranked 4-5 in the league at shots on goal but only have 5 goals to show for it. Have just not been clinical - last season Wood was just superb at taking his opportunities from not very many.

I watched the Sunderland game, wood missed some absolute sitters. I just think teams are really good at defending the slow build up, think his style is out of date by a couple years now. I also think the wingers are super important in his system and don't think Forests are as good as the top 10 teams

Agree .. Elanga is a massive loss for us. :(

Great 3-0 home win vs Spurs. Puts us 5 points ahead of the relegation spots.

Also in the next phase of the Europa League.

After the whole Nuno/Ange debacle and a heap of injuries, we can still achieve something if we go on a mini run.

Jesus is looking good up forward, and when we finally dropped Ndoye, we looked so much better.

We will miss Sangare away on Afcon duties, Douglas Luiz will step in and partner Anderson who is in great form.

Good to see John Victor get a clean sheet. No idea how long Sels will be out for.

Forest defeat Midtjylland on penalties to grab a spot in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.

Ryan Yates was phenomenal - gave it his all.

Outstanding penalties taken by MGW, Sangare & Williams. Midtjylland missed their first two penalties hitting the side bar through Cho and Aral Simsir -- Edward Chilufya missed their third penalty in comedic fashion after an unfortunate slip. Forest GK Ortega .. didn't have to move. 🤣

Forest into a European quarter-final for the first time in 30 years !

Good point vs Villa last week. Now Porto Friday morning AEST, then Burnley Monday morning AEST.

The Burnley game is must win. West Ham have a head of steam, and Leeds are all but safe. It will probably come down to us and Spurs for the final relegation spot. I reckon the group has responded to Pereira, and shown some pride, but geez we still look ugly at times, and can't find the back of the net.

We have Sunderland, Newcastle, Chelsea, Bournemouth and Man U left to play, not in that order. They are all games we could drop and I think we will need about 39 points to survive at this point.

Spurs have Wolves and Leeds amongst their final 6 games. If you tick them off, you can see why we need to win a couple more ourselves.

On quite a run with Vitor at the moment. 5-0 away against Sunderland was a shock. 3 wins and 3 draws from our last 6 PL games.

Can we get over Villa at the City Ground 5am Friday AEST? Even if we don't, we travel better this season.

I love what Vitor is doing with MGW out on the left and Wood and Jesus starting.

I'm worried about Cunha's injury as he is rock solid. Will Murillo be back because going in with Morato as a started is scary af?

Hutchinson has hit his straps on the right wing.

1 more win in the PL from the last four games should guarantee survival. Pity Spurs won or we would already be safe I reckon. With their injuries, it's tough to see them winning 2 more games to pass us at any rate.
