Downside is it has raced once in three years - I am happy to watch it go around given that. Can always jump on after if it isn't completely gone

Different type of tracks as well.
Ipswich is really tight and usually a mad front runners track.
Sun Coast does seem to get a track bias to it as well but you’ve got to pick it first.
GC is just a weird track
Better quality horses race the city tracks in general. Obviously carnival time like magic millions , Gold Coast will get the quality. Brisbane winter carnival will include GC,SC and IPS.

Pushing these races back from their traditional spot hasn't helped the fields. It used to be a red hot day for faves with unlucky horses coming out of the spring carnival looking for a consolation, now you need to try and pick which horse is going to win their first race in two years.
