Jimmy was quick enough to play on Phillip Matera. Should do OK on Taz.

they're quick but I doubt they're good as defending...Obrian has a tendancy to run over the ball, which would let tarrant just swing around and bolt towards goal, either way gonna make watching that game interesting

I really have faith in Lonie, plus Lonie is a player who sticks close to his opponent, and Tarrant is the type that gets frustrated easy so it would probably take the first 45 minutes of the game for Lonie to dominate in this match up and the rest of the game, Tarrant is useless.

he may not be the fastest but he very rarely gets beaten by a forward on the lead. best defender i have ever seen (probably even better then sos)

Presti is not that slow at all. He is quick off the lead and very good at stopping players on the lead. He would be able to read when Tarrant is leading as well.

im pretty sure our defenders know how Taz likes to play so i wouldnt be to worried on them getting beaten badly. Jimmy's the man to line up on him id think but possibly someone like an O'Brien maybe as well.

Clement is the obvious call. If Tarrant trains his backside off and gets his confidence high I thing he might run Clement ragged and take away the creativity we get from Clement. I go a bit left field and try Rusling. We could always make a move early if it looked like getting ugly.

The usual backmen we have are options of course but 150m leads can kill a backman. Players that have regularly held Tarrant are guys like Joel Smith. They can run and they are strong. You don’t need to match his height because one on one he doesn't out mark many unless he slings them and he seems to get pinged regularly for that. You need strength to stand your ground. If he jumps ion your head there isn’t much you can so don’t give him clear run from behind.

I tell you one thing that will drive me crazy. If Tarrant gets free kicks against us for being held I will jump the bloody fence. The amount of time I saw him get help in our forward line and get nothing was a joke.
