I feel your pain. Everything I've bet on this weekend has turned to $hit. and not just in the NRL. I haven't bet on the Raiders, so you should be ok :)

Really tough day yesterday...... Warriors were terrible and Storm 1st H beaten right at the death.... you were right Cruiser, to hard to early. Round one is always full of surprises. GL all today. Nothing for me

Too bad i didn't take my own advise, only small plays but just 1 from 3. Tempted to play Cronulla at the line considering the Raiders' injuries.

I had a $20 freebet with centrebet after betting on Brisbane to win the a-league final.

Probably wouldn't bet this if it was 'real' money, but I've taken a multi with all three dogs +13.5 @ $2.48
 
probably should of stayed away from the rest of the first round games. But couldn't help myself.

Adding 1.5U Kinghts/Panthers o42.5

Both teams have solid over trends from last year. Penrith day time matches going 5-2 (O-U) last year and 16-10 over the whole of last season. Knights went 12-12 last season but the data is skewed by 6 wet matches were they went 1-6. Dry matches they were 11-7.
 
I like the unders in both games today.

So far this round, we have had only one high scoring game, and that was on Friday Night, and that was mainly due to the lack of defense that both the Rabbits and the Roosters have.

Today, we have 4 teams who don't put up large numbers usually anyway, and then you have the injury concerns for the Raiders, that will keep the score low.

So;

Canberra/Cronulla under 44.5 @ 1.90

Penrith/Newcastle under 46 @ 1.90

Has anyone made money on the nrl this weekend?
 
I know people don't like saying that they won after not saying what their bets were, but my spreadsheet did get me Matt Duffie for first try scorer last night @ $12, and additionally with Anthony Quinn's money being refunded as a non-starter, it saw me be 7 units up for that particular match.

Will calculate the Tigers v Bulldogs game tomorrow to see how I go. Am 3 units down for the weekend from 3 games, at a 1/3 success rate so far.

I only had one four leg multi and was out the first leg. Luckily thats the only bet i had because I could be in trouble. I think ive got 3 in the tips so far, appauling.

Do really like the tigers tonight so will have a small bet on 13+ @ $3.35 for an interest. The $1.72 is good value as well, I dont think they will be that price very often this year. I might add that onto a few afl multis for next week

not that confident after the weekend of punting (horses),doing allright in the tipping though only the warriors have let me down so far.

Only 1 bet per account though.

Where could you double up the points with first tryscorer. I tried sportingbet and it wouldn't let me.

I did it on Sportingbet. It's in one of the subsections of the game (you know, the last drop down box which gives you everything that you can bet on with that game).

1st Try Scorer/Margin was one of the things there.
