Not sure how hard the Rooosters were trying but it's never a good idea to flirt with form.

So who is the Knights player who supposedly racially abused Tyrone Peachey? If true there would be a good case of eviction from the NRL.

Only explanation for giving up and ensuring they play the Panthers instead of the Storm next week.

Hell they lost by so much they could now finish 5th.

I'd rather play Melbourne, it's not close.

If Parramatta win and the Raiders win by 113, the Roosters drop to fifth.

Raiders won't win for starters, they have rested their whole side lol

That Parra game has upset written over it...the Tigers can at least score! Parra can't right now.

The only team that has taken Parramatta to the sword this season were the Rabbits. The Roosters, Raiders and Panthers are better teams than the Tigers and none piled on the tries and the Storm didn’t trouble the Eels at all. What makes you think the Tigers could pile on the points when Parramatta have something to play for?

Tigers always can score points. That's the main issue for Parra. Parra's attack has been dreadful for 3 months.

Well, we're crap. But the finals are a different ball game and our offence has improved a little over the last two weeks, albeit against the wooden spooners and perennial flops, so hopefully we go in with a bit of confidence. Not overly excited about our fortunes though.

For the sake of this group going forward we need to win at least 1 final. Don’t give us any hope of beating the Storm

Finals tips

Roosters def Penrith (this will be a cracker)

- Just feel Roosters experience might be the difference

Melb de Parra

- I can't see Parra getting close to be honest

Souths def Newcastle

- Newcastle are cannon fodder

Canberra def Cronulla

- Cronulla are lucky 4 teams were more awful! Titans would have given the Raiders a run.

Penrith/Roosters easily the most intriguing game here. Love the Panthers but season will mean nothing now if they can't at least win a final. Just think Roosters at full strength might pip them here, and Panthers should win the next week.

Melbourne will beat Parramatta.

South Sydney will destroy Newcastle.

Canberra will beat the Sharks comfortably.

Not the most exciting first week as I reckon 3/4 winners are pretty predictable.
