Newcastle vs Parra shapes as a great match to watch with both playing such aesthetically pleasing football. Be a good test to see whether the Knights are a 3-6 team or a 7-8 team. Feel like they are Parra last year- on the verge but not quite yet.

Thursday 9th July
North Queensland vs Sydney Roosters (QCB Stadium - 19:50)

TIP: Roosters by 20 (will win and win easily)

Friday 10th July
Gold Coast vs New Zealand (CBus Super Stadium - 18:00)

TIP: No confidence, but Warriors by 4

South Sydney vs Wests Tigers (BankWest Stadium - 19:55)

TIP: Souths by 8, just a gut feeling.

Saturday 11th July
Cronulla-Sutherland vs Penrith (Jubilee Stadium - 15:00)

TIP: Penrith are miles better, Penrith by 14.

Brisbane vs Canterbury-Bankstown (Suncorp Stadium - 17:30)

TIP: Bulldogs by 4 in the worst game of all time.

Canberra vs Melbourne (GIO Stadium - 19:35)

TIP: Melbourne by 6, will be close but Melbourne to do enough.

Sunday 12th July
Newcastle vs Parramatta (Central Coast Stadium - 16:05)

TIP: Newcastle by 4 (my upset of the round)

St.George-Illawarra vs Manly-Warringah (Jubilee Stadium - 18:30)

TIP: Dragons by 2...don't know why but honestly Manly are horrible without Tommy T, Walker and now Blake is suspended. Dragons weren't awful last week.

I imagine most folk will be backing the Roosters to turn over NQC, but every other tie in the round looks a tough call.
With very little confidence, I'll go:

Roosters
Gold Coast
Tigers
Penrith
Dogs
Storm
Parra
Dragons

Gotta say I am loving this season so far, especially with less interest in neutral AFL games, the NRL has been really enjoyable contest.

I had a +13.5 bet on the Cowboys tonight at $2. I know it's the Roosters after a loss so they could easily get blown away and lose 32-10, but I reckon with a couple of injuries to the Roosters, the Cowboys in NQ can keep this within a couple of tries and are a sneaky, sneaky shot at stealing a win.

Knights/Parra is at McDonald Jones Stadium. Won't be an upset if Knights win. Parra never win up there. Only 6 times out of 20.

Gerard Sutton will make sure it is 6 out of 21.

I've tipped Knights as the upset, but Edrick Lee is a big out.

Hope everyone got on the Storm earlier how on earth Canberra were favs I’d love to know!
Kind of a wild week with at least 3 games moving 3 points since open (Roosters, Warriors, Storm). Missed the Storm, but was early on the other two.
