Sea Eagles: Origin trio Daly Cherry-Evans, Tom Trbojevic and Jake Trbojevic have been named to back up 48 hours after the series opener, although the likes of Cade Cust and Jorge Taufua are on standby.
Kieran Foran (hand) and Dylan Walker (hamstring) are set to make welcome returns from injury. Ben Trbojevic (head knock) is expected to play after passing concussion protocols during the bye period.
Sea Eagles winger Jason Saab has scored 11 tries in his past eight games.
Cowboys: Maroons reps Valentine Holmes, Kyle Feldt and Coen Hess have been named to back up for the side but the club's medical staff won't make a call until Thursday morning.
Hess is 18th man for the Maroons so is more likely than the other two if he doesn't get onto the field.
Veteran centre Justin O'Neill has been named among the reserves as he works his way back from a knee injury.
The Cowboys have won their past three games at Lottoland.

Sharks: Back-to-back wins, a week off to freshen up and five players returning from injury or suspension combine for the perfect preparation as Cronulla gear up for competition leaders Penrith.
The only change to the side which downed the Titans in round 12 is Andrew Fifita joining the bench at the expense of Franklin Pele.
Mawene Hiroti and Teig Wilton have been named among the reserves having completed their suspensions while prop Braden Hamlin-Uele (ankle) is at least another week away from returning.
Panthers: Ivan Cleary will be closely monitoring the fitness of his seven State of Origin representatives as they strive to back up from the series opener.
Nathan Cleary, Jarome Luai, Isaah Yeo, Brian To'o, Liam Martin and Kurt Capewell have all been named as reserves while Blues 18th man Api Koroisau is in the starting side, replacing Mitch Kenny who goes to the bench.
"We're not expecting any of the Origin boys to play, I don't think," centre Stephen Crichton told NRL.com on Monday.
"I don't think they will and I don't think the coaches are expecting them to either. It just gives us a good chance again to step up."
Prop Moses Leota's return from suspension sees Spencer Leniu revert to the bench. Jaeman Salmon and Lindsay Smith drop out of the squad.

Titans: AJ Brimson carried a knee injury into Origin camp but is good to go for the series opener and has been named to back up on Saturday by coach Justin Holbrook.
Impressive youngster Jayden Campbell is on the reserves list and could be called up should Brimson fail to come through after Townsville.
The club's other three Origin reps – David Fifita, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika – will be monitored.
Winger Anthony Don (hip) and hooker Mitch Rein (shoulder) have been listed among the reserves after both were ruled out of the clash with Melbourne and could be late inclusions.
Roosters: James Tedesco has been named to back up from Origin I but Joseph Suaalii is waiting in the reserves if the star fullback fails to do so.
Isaac Liu has been included after a nasty eye injury in round 12, while Sam Walker is back in the No.7 jersey after being rested.
Veteran prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will play his 250th NRL game.

Rabbitohs: Dane Gagai and Jai Arrow have been rested and won't play the Knights, while a decision on the remaining Origin representatives including Damien Cook and Latrell Mitchell won't be made until Thursday.

The Raiders are aiming for three consecutive wins over the Broncos for the first time since 1994-95.
Broncos: More reshuffling by Kevin Walters on Tuesday will see Karmichael Hunt play his first NRL game since 2009.
Origin representatives Payne Haas and Xavier Coates have been included but will be monitored on Thursday if they are to make the trip to the nation's capital.
David Mead and Jordan Riki are among those on standby in the reserves. Kobe Hetherington (ankle) is expected to play.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (foot) is expected to play. Bulldogs centre Nick Cotric has scored four tries in six games against the Dragons.
Dragons: Anthony Griffin has included Tariq Sims in the reserves with the enforcer set to prove his fitness in the five-day turnaround.
Sims' availability could see a reshuffle with Jack Bird named to start in the back row.

All eyes will be on Ampol State of Origin I on Wednesday night before NRL clubs finalise their sides for round 14 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
The Sea Eagles, Cowboys and Panthers will make immediate calls on their Origin stars by Thursday afternoon with less than 48 hours between games.
The Rabbitohs have already ruled out Maroons representatives Dane Gagai and Jai Arrow for their clash against the Knights.
Warriors prop Addin Fonua-Blake also faces a fitness test in his bid to return in round 14 against the Storm.

Panthers: All eyes will be on the seven players in Origin on Wednesday with Nathan Cleary, Jarome Luai, Isaah Yeo, Brian To'o, Liam Martin and Kurt Capewell all named as reserves for the Panthers.
