The Tigers don't believe that time is linear, though. Their perception is that they are stuck in an endless time-loop: Storm score. And then they score again. And then again...

Once you could count on the NRL having a number of close games every round but nowadays the NRL is a lop sided competition. The top six sides are that far above the rest of the competition it is daylight then the rest of 'em. The number of blow outs this year has to be a real concern.

The lop sided nature of the NRL competition was really evident this round. Not only did the Storm blow West Tigers away and the Bunnies demolish the Broncos but Manly annihilated the Titans in a half of football. How does a side run in 9 tries to nil in a half in what is supposed to be an elite competition?

Only 3 games this round were decided by less than 26 points and that has to be a concern for the NRL.

This has already been stated.
The top 2 teams are way ahead of the next 4 and then the next 10 are making up the numbers.
Feels like the EPL where after a month, you knew only 2 sides could win it.

Set against that though, remember that at the start of the season the Titans were being praised for the great acquisitions they'd made, which were going to turn them into real contenders. But yeah, they look as far behind the top sides as the rest of them. Despite playing some great footy at times.

Hopefully in goes as it should and its Panthers v Storm GF. Will be insane battle.

Rabbits half a chance and Manly are coming.

Let's be real. Can the nrl support more teams? The talent isn't there for 16 let alone 17, 18 or 19.
A tighter salary cap (or at least monitoring them closer) might give a more balanced spread of talent, but I agree, we don't have the players from the expansion areas to justify them. As a league supporter living in WA, I can say we just don't have the players to justify a team without stealing them from other states. The Reds era is long gone and the game didn't develop a profile post them becoming the storm.

Roosters to Adelaide?

Also, 2 NZ teams doesn't contribute to the game building nationally.

They'd be the least missed and have drawn ok there. NZ has the next biggest nursery to get more players from for expansion to work.
