Broncos: Winger Xavier Coates (hamstring) will need to pass a fitness test on Wednesday after his late withdrawal in Canberra with Dale Copley on stand-by.
Tesi Niu has been confirmed as Brisbane's new fullback. Karmichael Hunt gets another run at five-eighth with playmaker Albert Kelly battling a hamstring strain which is expected to sideline him for at least another week.
Thomas Flegler regains the No.13 jersey with John Asiata reverting to the interchange, Keenan Palasia replaces Corey Paix on the bench.
Jordan Riki and Rhys Kennedy were the first two players cut from the squad 24 hours before kick-off.
The Broncos have won four of their past five games against the Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.
Rabbitohs: Dane Gagai and Jai Arrow have been cleared to make a return after being rested last week following Origin and injury scares.
Damien Cook and Cameron Murray will also return after not backing up from Origin last week.
Veteran utility Benji Marshall drops out of the squad completely, along with debutant dummy-half Peter Mamouzelos, while Jacob Host, Hame Sele and Braidon Burns slide back to the interchange.
Origin rep Jaydn Su'A has been named among the reserves.
Liam Knight and Josh Mansour were the first two players omitted from the squad 24 hours before kick-off.
Wayne Bennett will coach his 200th game at Suncorp Stadium.

Cowboys: Origin debutant Kyle Feldt (back) trained well on Tuesday and should be right to play the Sharks.
Back-rower Mitch Dunn (suspension) is also back in the starting line-up, pushing Coen Hess into the front row, Tom Gilbert to the interchange and Peter Hola to the extended bench.
The Cowboys have won their past five games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Sharks: Sione Katoa and Braden Hamlin-Uele have been listed in the reserves but are unlikely to make the trip to Townsville.
Wade Graham has not been named after suffering another head knock at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Friday night, with the club committed to an "extra cautious" approach because of their skipper's recent history.
Siosifa Talakai makes his return to the starting line-up in Graham's place with Teig Wilton filling the hole on the interchange.
The Sharks are aiming for four consecutive wins for the first time since 2018.

Panthers: Nathan Cleary (facial laceration) is expected to play after joining his teammates for training this week.
Origin trio Isaah Yeo, Kurt Capewell and Liam Martin will replace Viliame Kikau (hamstring), Scott Sorensen (interchange) and J'maine Hopgood (reserves) in the back row.
Rookie second-rower Izack Tago has retained his place on the interchange and will play his third NRL game.
The Panthers have won three of their past four games against the Roosters.
Roosters: Halfback Sam Walker (shoulder) has been named and is expected to play.
Sam Verrills (eye) is also in line to make his long-awaited comeback on the interchange in place of suspended dummy-half Ben Marschke, who has been banned for two games for dangerous contact.
Centre Billy Smith has been named on the extended bench after missing all of 2020 with an ACL injury but is likely to play reserve grade.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson has a 9-5 record against Panthers rival Ivan Cleary.

Knights: Kalyn Ponga (groin) remains in some doubt to overcome his injury with a final call to be made on Friday.
Mitchell Pearce (pectoral) and Hymel Hunt (hamstring) are much better chances at taking the field.
Their returns come as the club confirmed Bradman Best will miss 6-8 weeks with a syndesmosis injury.
Veteran prop David Klemmer is listed on the interchange as he makes his way back from a two-match suspension but a late change could be on the cards.
The Knights are aiming for two wins in a season against the Warriors for the first time since 2003.
Warriors: Rising star Reece Walsh returns from suspension to reclaim the fullback spot with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck again making way with a move to the wing.
Sean O'Sullivan gets another chance at halfback following Chanel Harris-Tavita's season-ending pectoral injury.
Jazz Tevaga gets the nod at hooker in place of Wayde Egan (head knock) and Addin Fonua-Blake, who made his return after eight weeks out on the bench last week.
The Warriors have conceded 169 points in their past five games.

Dragons: Zac Lomax is a chance of returning from a thumb injury after being named in jersey No.21.
The same 17 which suffered a 20-point loss to Canterbury has been retained, but if Lomax is fit that is likely to change.
Rising star Tyrell Sloan has also been named among the reserves.
Dragons fullback Matt Dufty has scored 13 tries in 15 games at WIN Stadium.
Raiders: No changes expected with Ryan James expected to play reserve grade after serving a one-match suspension.
Sia Soliola and Ryan Sutton could switch again late this week after the side's success last weekend.
The Raiders have won four of their past five games against the Dragons.

Storm: Christian Welch (head knock) is expected to make a return after being named on Tuesday.
Welch will need to pass final concussion protocols but is firming to play.
Nelson Asofa-Solomona replaces Jesse Bromwich, who has an elbow injury and has not been named with Tui Kamikamica moving back to the interchange.
George Jennings returns on the wing after missing last week with an injury. ·
Melbourne have won seven from seven at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
Wests Tigers: Moses Mbye (knee) will need to get through training this week before the side travels to Queensland.
Winger Ken Maumalo will make his debut for the Wests Tigers in the same week he joined the club.
Incredibly, Maumalo will clash against the Storm for the third time this season and second time in as many weeks. He has scored hat-tricks in both games against the Storm in 2021.
As a result, James Roberts moves into the centres with Adam Doueihi (head knock) not named after copping a high tackle from Eels winger Maika Sivo on Sunday.

Eels: Blake Ferguson and Bryce Cartwright are unlikely to be late inclusions with the pair to play in the NSW Cup this week.
Young winger Sean Russell will make his NRL debut with Maika Sivo suspended.
The only other change comes on the interchange, with Keegan Hipgrave named in No.16 after serving a suspension in the NSW Cup.
The Eels have won nine of their past 11 games against the Bulldogs.
Bulldogs: Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (foot) could be a late inclusion after missing the win over the Dragons on Monday but Nick Meaney has been retained in the fullback role, with DWZ named as a reserve.
Kyle Flanagan performed strongly in NSW Cup last week for Mounties but is likely to remain in the second-tier competition.
The Bulldogs are aiming to win back-to-back games for the first time since 2019.

Titans: AJ Brimson "should be fit" to play according to the club despite being listed in the reserves. Brimson has a PCL issue that is being monitored.
David Fifita and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui (head knocks) are on track to play with a long turnaround in their favour this week and leading into Origin II.
The Titans have scored an average of 32.8 points per game at Cbus Super Stadium in 2021.
Sea Eagles: Toafofoa Sipley is going through concussion protocols in a bid to play and with a nine-day turnaround is every chance of taking the field.
Tom Trbojevic returns at fullback after being rested last week in a move that will send Reuben Garrick back to the wing and Brad Parker to the centres. Moses Suli is back on the reserves list.
Sean Keppie returns from suspension on the interchange bench with Kurt De Luis on the reserves list.
Sea Eagles captain Daly Cherry-Evans will play his 250th NRL game.

Our biggest ever win vs Brisbane
Our highest score vs Brisbane
First time we've ever kept them to 0
Most individual try scorers (7) in a match vs Brisbane

Not a bad little night
First time since 1939 that you’ve kept a team scoreless twice in a year.

Attacking player slips over and defending player can’t do anything but hit them high and its auto 10 in the bin.
😢😢😢😢

Not swing his arm and hit the bloke in the head. I’d have sympathy if there wasn’t a clear swinging arm action.
